Attack of the Dreaded Lurgy
Everything was going well with training – I was gradually losing weight and starting to feel my fitness improving and then disaster struck in the form of a nasty flu type bug, that started to effect me on Friday.
I stupidly still went out for the traditional beers after work and woke up the next day with a fever, cough and a headache. From then it just seems to be getting worse and I had to cancel my Sunday long run. Feels like I’m going to be ill for at least another few days, which means training will just have to wait.
